The ferry is at sea passing the Queen Charlotte Islands. Overnight on board the ferry.
Day 3-Sunday
Arrive in Ketchikan today. The rest of the day is free. Recommended is a visit to the Totem Heritage Center. Overnight in Ketchikan.
Day 4-Monday
Take the ferry early today for Sitka. Overnight on board the ferry.

Day 5-Tuesday
Arrive into Sitka early this morning. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Sitka.
Day 6-Wednesday
The morning is free in Sitka. Board the fast ferry for the trip to Juneau. Overnight in Juneau.
Day 7-Thursday
The entire day is free in Juneau. Recommended is a visit to the Alaska State Museum or an optional trip to Tracy Arm Fjord. Overnight in Juneau.
Day 8-Friday
Take the ferry this afternoon along the Lynn Canal to Skagway. Overnight in Skagway.
Day 9-Saturday
The day is free in Skagway for the trip on the White Pass Railroad. Overnight in Skagway.
Day 10-Sunday
Pick up your AVIS rental car this morning and drive north along the Klondike Highway. Whitehorse, Capitol of the Yukon Territory is worth a visit. The MacBride Museum near the river is recommended. Drive north on the Alaska Highway and overnight in Beaver Creek, Yukon.
Day 11-Monday
Continue north to Fairbanks from Beaver Creek. You will see the Trans-Alaska pipeline near Delta Junction, Alaska. Overnight in Fairbanks.
Day 12-Tuesday
The entire day is free in Fairbanks. Recommended is a visit to the University of Alaska and the Museum of the North. The optional trip on the Riverboat Discovery is also recommended. Overnight in Fairbanks.
Day 13-Wednesday
Board the Alaska Railroad this morning for the trip to Denali Park. The afternoon is free at Denali. Overnight in Denali Park.
Depart 8:15 am Arrive 12:00 Noon
Day 14-Thursday
The day is free in Denali for the optional shuttle trip into the park. Return to your lodgings at the park entrance this afternoon. Overnight in Denali Park.
Day 15-Friday
After a morning free in Denali, board the Alaska Railroad for the trip to Anchorage.
